It wasn't untill i turned the corner,that i saw them, i froze on the spot, unable to move or catch my breath.
My heart pounding,and my legs litterally turned to jelly.... i stood watching in disbelief, unable to take my eyes of the happy couple, only the man she was hugging and kissing was MY man.
He had his arms around her and she his, i noticed how short she was compared to his six foot, her short hair and plain face almost made her look like a little teenage boy.
What the hell did they think they were doing! and outside a public house so local to us,..us ! thats a joke, there was no us anymore.
As i came to my senses a million thoughts went through my head, who the Frig is she?,where she from?,does she live around her? how does he know her?, how fucking dare he!!
it was always him that kept saying to me, how important fidelity was to him, and if i ever strayed he would instantly leave me!!
oh god! what am i going to do?
He looked at his watch and said something to her, i knew i had to go.
Somehow i managed to turn away and started to walk home, so much for the surprise visit i set out to give him.
As i got near home, the home we shared together, i was stopped by my neighbour,
As she chatted away unaware that i was even on the same planet as her,
all i could see was them two locked in oblivian, couldn't really hear a word she was rattling on about!.
Then i herd someone saying to me "are you alright dear" you look like youv'e seen a ghost!"
I felt my eyes beginging to water, and made my excuses to get away from her.
What on earth was she talking about anyway? left me some stuff to get rid of the rats that seem to be plaguing our rubbish bin area?
Can't think about bloody rats at time like this!!
I arrived home, and automatically started the dinner, knowing he would be home soon.
Just so happened it was wednesday, spag boll, his favorite, bastard!
I herd the key in the door, and my heart started to pound again,
another gulp of wine soon cured that, two bottles seem to have gone down without so much as a slur.
He had the bloody cheek to come in smiling, and asked if i had had a good day?
I did'nt reply and he didn't seem to notice, probably still wrapped up in thoughts of the dwarf!!
He sat at the tabe chit chatting away as i dished up his favorite meal, all hot and steaming.
We ate in silence, as he ate his ravenously i pushed mine around the plate, not actually eating any, i'd lost my appitite.
Later into the night, i herd him, grunting next to me, as i layed there and waited for the silence that i knew would follow, i thought what a considerate neighbour i had.
