Ghosts.

In my house there lives some ghosts,
Mischief is their second name.
They always seem to be drinking toasts,
Usually from my best champagne.
I cannot say they are as drunk as Lords,
For that would be going too far,
But I fear they often rattle their swords,
As they stand around in my bar.
They tell some pretty tall tales,
Of things that happened in the past.
Then they break out into piteous wails,
For even my stocks of champagne will not last.
I await the day when I can join the throng,
For I too have many a tale to tell,
I will drink and join in with a song.
For I have a voice as sweet as a bell,
I hope the new owner has a taste for beer,
For that is my favourite drink you know.
Then above my wails I will give a cheer,
As the beer slowly down my gullet does go.
I do not mind the Ghosts in my house,
They give the place quite an air,
I will act as quiet as a mouse,
As long as I get my fair share.
The ghosts have been there for as long as I can remember,
They treat my house as their own,
They can stay from January to December,
And call my house their home.

I went to the forum checking things out and saw GHOSTS - I thought it was concerning ghost stories - I read the poem written - it is awesome!  It does tell a story - keep writing - I do have some experiences with real ghost I've encountered since my childhood and will share them with you later. Whoever you are that wrote the poem - you shold open a poetry site - I write poems too.

I have to say that I LOVED IT!!!!
But I do have a question if someone can answer it.
I live here in Panama City Florida and I have seen a horse standing in my yard more than once. The 1st time my 3 dogs was going crazy and I went out to see what was going on, Well There it was standing next to the tree in the front yard about 5 feet from my house. When I went to walk out the door it was not there. I let my german shepard go and he went right to the spot that it was standing and started to smell around and bark at the ground. I have seen it 3 more times and its not everyday but maybe every few days. Does anyone know what this means or what it could be?
Thanks
Dan

Dan You do not say whether you are on any prescribed drugs or not. I myself take many different drugs for Parkinson's disease. I have at times hallucinations caused by the drugs. You see a horse, I see people. Who knows are they real or are they just the mind playing up on one, who knows? bern aka bunny.
