As a "retired" freelance photographer, I have a passion for shooting everything from the seductive honesty of girl-next-door glamour to nature and wildlife to captured moments. Whenever a picture has made you stop and think... or wonder... or laugh... or feel... it has involved you. Great photography is emotion.

For me, music is a potent force to arouse, enrich, and enhance. From motion picture soundtracks featuring 007 and C3PO to Billy Joel and Elton John... from classical selections to classic rock... from Jewel to Black Sabbath with several stops in between, music rocks my world and triggers creativity.

I have been fortunate enough to have my investigations and research featured in national magazines and serve as source material for several popular books and television programs on the paranormal.

Looking forward to your questions regarding the unexplained and unknown and sharing our weird experiences with the paranormal. Just leave a comment or SEND MESSAGE.

Yesterday’s status quo of endlessly recounting stale exaggerations of mysterious events and wishful contemplation of the paranormal has not increased any knowledge. This perpetual war between the blind denial of debunkers and the blind certainty of believers continues to distort and censor the data. Good research starts with factual information, evidence, and skeptical objectivity. Indeed, weird happens. What we do about it is entirely up to us.

What are your feelings/intuitions on gardens
and their effects on OtherWorld entities/faeries?

When I was small my Dad used to tell us of fairies, elves, brownies, sprites, dryads, etc...and we believed...am quite sure those beliefs /images were what created the magic places in gardens, woods, etc. There are mushroom rings known as fairy rings, strange rock formations, woods that twist into shapes and untold uses, and who hasn't laid down on the moss in a shadowed glen looking at nature and wondered about spirits unseen,or perhaps seen only with the edge of our vision...when we are small we are open to much that we refuse to see as adults (although I think the drug experiments of the 60's and 70's helped many of us to open our minds and the doors/windows that surround it( me being one of those people who reject the manmade christ image and rules that moralize ,men who demonize, and all the dogma that puts women and healers down in favor of pharma-fake medicine---much prefer the informality of earth mother respect and being responsible for my own footprint, along with herbal, and energy...))
As for the rain gear-as children, my mom sent us out into the pouring summer rains with a bar of soap and naught else-a practical notion when we had a gravity fed well that was hand dug ,water being sweet and delicious and in limited supply-we also swam in the river (before the trailer park took it over with its gross leakages

Peace, Sarah

Hi Goerman,

Just wanted to say hey.

I see we have a common interest in photography. Also, my wife is pretty deep into the paranormal. I'm slightly interested.

Thanks for being my first!

Hi starcollision -

Hope this finds you and yours well.

Photography?
Writing?
Photography?
Writing?
Photography?
Writing?

Both are extremely satisfying to me on different levels.

Photography often depends on external things: the model, the scenery, the wildlife, et cetera.

Writing can "come from out of nowhere." My sci-fi novel, Himmler's War, was a blast to write. 5-STAR reviews don't hurt, either. Making discoveries and my investigative research is "fun" in a very different way.

I would say that I enjoy writing more.

It is kind of fun to browse the local bookstores and see my stuff in other people's books, to see their "take" on my research and writings.

Hi,
Thanx for inviting me.
So, what do you like more: Taking Photos or writing?

Hi Munchie -

Hope this finds you and yours well.

In all of my many years of investigative research into matters unknown and unexplained, I have NEVER received a single report where people experimenting with a OUIJA board found it to be a positive aspect in their life. I have, on the other hand, listened to many personal narratives where events turned negative and very nasty. These folks now adamantly refuse to have this accursed "toy" in their homes!

Is this subjective? Is this objective?

I do not know.

Most of my investigative research into the "paranormal" has involved so-called "UFOs," reports of "monsters" and strange creatures, falls of animals and objects from the sky, and the more physical phenomena rather than ghost-hunting. Although I will not rule out checking a local haunt on occasion.

Have you experimented with a OUIJA board?

What are your views on ouija boards?
I  believe in the paranormal and spirits, but of course I do have my doubts.
Enlighten me on your thoughts.
